The Heartland Genetics and Newborn Screening Collaborative annual conference was held September 16-18, 2009 at The Peabody overlooking the Arkansas River in Little Rock, AR. We had over 85 attendees from 12 states. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Conference Information
Agenda: The meeting agenda included: plenary sessions, guest speakers, poster session, and Work Group meetings. Added this year was a Telemedicine Workshop, hosted by UAMS, in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 16th.

Travel Reimbursement
The Heartland Regional Coordinating Center will pay travel costs for Advisory Board members, core work group members and advocates. (See Travel Funding List.) For those whose travel will be covered, Heartland will pay for travel to the meeting, lodging and meals.
