Executive Committee Information

The membership of this committee is drawn from the Heartland Regional Council on Genetics, which is the advisory body to the collaborative. Membership is to include: All Committee chairs; the Program Director; Executive secretary (Project Manager); 8 State Genetic Coordinators; 2 Lay Advocates; 1 Newborn Screening Coordinator; 1 State Advisory Chair; and 1 Primary Care Provider or Specialist.

The Executive Committee serves as a decision making body for the council. The committee makes decisions that require rapid response, approves documents produced by the council and pilot project awards, and will provide key leadership in implementation of the Heartland Regional Genetics Plan. The committee works by email outside of regularly scheduled phone conferences.
