Lynch Syndrome Explained by a Genetic Counselor

Around 1/300 adults carry a genetic change that constitutes Lynch syndrome, and it accounts for about 3% of all colon cancer. It can also manifest in other organs besides colon, like uterine, pancreatic, stomach, and more. Thankfully, there are many surveillance methods that can be taken to help catch cancer before it has progressed for those with Lynch syndrome.
