#236 Assessing for Alzheimer’s Disease with Quest Diagnostics

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia and 1/3 of those with mild cognitive impairment may develop Alzheimer’s. Having a 1st degree relative or multiple family members with the disease can double one’s risk. Thankfully there are many ways to screen, rule out, or monitor the progression of this diagnosis. Susan Hahn, MS, CGC from Quest Diagnostics and Rebecca Chopp, Ph.D., from the Alzheimer’s Association, discuss advancing biomarker technology and first hand patient experience in ‘living with joy’, while having the condition.
