By ryandahlhauser ‐ September 7, 2023
Polygenic scores (PGS) help estimate one’s genetic risk for many conditions through a large amount of variants. This January 2023 practice guideline helps describe the current state of evidence, questions to consider when working with patients on potentially using PGS, and steps research should take moving into the future to make this a more promising and equitable health tool.
