The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) has listed multiple points to consider for genetics access to all in this April 2023 guideline. Underrepresented minorities (URMs) have historically experienced distrust in the medical field. Reduced uptake in research and testing compounds health disparities, therefore ACMG continues to emphasize all inclusive practices and respect for each person. This provider level guidelines discusses at length all factors hindering equitable access and ways to improve.
